GeneralItinerary Code: AT 193 Duration: 6 Days Mode of Transport: Land Travel Day 1: Departure from Islamabad (early morning). Journey through Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram on Karakoram Highway, crossing the Indus River and passing Besham, Dasu and Diamer‑Bhasha dam sites. Night stay in Chilas. Day 2: Drive to Astore valley from Chilas (4 hrs), along Astore river through villages, stop at Astore Bazaar. Jeep drive to Rama on non‑metalled road, ascend towards hotel/guest house in Rama. Drive towards Rama lake for photography (views of Nanga Parbat). Night stay in Rama/Astore. Day 3: Morning walk in the forest/vegetation area near Polo ground. Drive back to Chilas and relax before lunch. Jeep ride to Tato Village (45 mins). Trek to Fairy Meadows (2 hrs hiking). Night stay at Fairy Meadow (camping/huts). Day 4: Trek to Nanga Parbat base camp, enjoy the walk to wilderness (13,000 ft), short stopover at Biyal, crossing of glacier, another view of Nanga Parbat, continue trek to base camp. Night stay in Fairy Meadow (camping/huts). Day 5: Rest and free time for photography, writing etc. Enjoy sunrise and sunsets, mirror view of mountains in lakes. Night stay in Fairy Meadow (camping/huts). Day 6: Departure for Islamabad (early morning). View of Bagrote, Rakaposhi and Haramosh peaks (above 7,000 m). Arrival in Islamabad. Dream your journey 😉
