This 7‑day land travel itinerary departs early from Islamabad and follows the Karakoram Highway through Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram, Besham, Dasu and the Diamer‑Bhasha dam sites to Chilas. The tour continues to Astore Valley with a drive along the Astore River, a stop at Astore Bazaar and a jeep ride to Rama for lake photography. After a morning walk near the Polo ground, travelers drive to Hunza Valley, staying in Karimabad. Day 4 explores historic Baltit and Altit forts, Altit village, Duikar viewpoint, Eagle’s Nest and optional café visit, followed by free time for shopping. Day 5 is a highlight journey to the Pak‑China border at Khunjerab Pass, passing Ganish bridge, Attabad Lake, Passu Cathedral, Batura Glacier, wildlife areas and a picnic on the border before returning to Karimabad. Day 6 heads to Gilgit, visiting Rakaposhi viewpoint, the ancient Silk Route, Gilgit Bazaar, NLI market and Buddha Rock carving. The tour concludes on Day 7 with a return to Islamabad.
