Overview
A 7- to 9-day kayaking expedition on the Indus River starting in Skardu and ending in Gilgit. The route passes the confluence of the Shyok, Hushe, Thalle, and Shigar Rivers. Daytime kayaking is followed by overnight stays at hotels or protected campsites. A support vehicle meets the party at pre-determined stops. Best conditions are in winter when water levels are lower.
