Visit Balakot, Shogran, Kaghan and Naran with two nights at Naran. Terraced form river to hilltop and covered in forests of huge Himalayan pine, the Kaghan valley is one of the most beautiful in Pakistan and is reminiscent of the alpine scenery of Europe. Kaghan is just on the edge of the monsoon belt so there is no need for irrigation here. Kaghan is not on the normal tourist rout: it is for the lover of nature, Hiking and other outdoor pleasures. At Naran, 23 kms from Kaghan you reach the half-way point. Naran also serves as the base for the whole valley. From here you can ride a jeep or horse or hike in excursions to several picturesque lakes, valleys and peaks.
