The challenge covers the following : Ultar Meadows (3500m) The trail begins just before Baltit Fort, Following the water channel into mouth of the canyon. Start of the trek is steep and slippery. After few hours we reach to Sheppard’s huts as its base camp of Ultar Peaks. Ultar Meadow, which is at an altitude of about 3,270 meters, behind Karimabad. The Ultar Meadow is used as a summer pasture by the Baltit villagers Hon pass (4200m) Hon Pass (4200-M)on a steep ridge above Ultar, has magnificent views of the Hunza valley and the west end of the Hisper, Spantik, Sosbun and Rakaposhi- Haramosh ranges. It offers an erial view of the majestic mountains around Hunza Valley. Rakaposhi BC (Taghaphari) Rakaposhi means “Snow Covered” in the local language. Rakaposhi is also known as Dumani (“Mother of Mist”). It is ranked 27th highest in the world and 12th highest in Pakistan, but it is more popular for its beauty than its rank might suggest. In a colloquial sense, i.e. measured from base to summit, Rakaposhi with its uninterrupted ~6000 m vertical rise, is the tallest mountain on Earth.
