Overview
A 25-day high-altitude trek through the remote Shimshal Valley on the northern edge of the Karakoram. Starting in Islamabad, the journey drives to Gilgit and Passu, then treks through Shimshal Village, crossing Shuwert Pass and traversing the Gujerab and Chapchingal Valleys before reaching the Karakoram Highway near Khunjerab Pass. Features rugged wilderness and nine peaks above 7,000 meters.
