About This Trip
The K2 Expedition 2026‑27 (Karakoram) is a high‑altitude mountaineering package offered by Apricot Tours for experienced climbers and alpinists worldwide. The expedition runs in summer (June‑August) and winter (December‑February) with departures from Islamabad. It includes full‑guided service with a Nepalese high‑altitude climbing leader, rope‑fixing team, all climbing gear, meals above base camp, lodging at base camp and four nights in an Islamabad hotel on arrival plus two nights on return, internal/domestic transport, domestic flights, personal baggage allowance, liaison officers, emergency equipment, staff insurance, experienced cook, porters, solar power, generator, Wi‑Fi, and weather reports. Government royalty fees are charged per season (USD 5,000 in spring/summer, USD 2,500 in autumn, USD 1,500 in winter). The base‑camp service includes similar provisions but without the climbing leader and rope‑fixing team. Personal climbing Sherpa and supplemental oxygen are excluded.
